- These LiFePO4 batteries, model SB2217, offer a significant weight reduction, being less than half the weight of traditional Lead Acid batteries. Despite their similar appearance to Lead Acid batteries, they feature advanced prismatic LiFePO4 cells, widely used in portable devices. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) ensures uniform charging and discharging, providing protection against short circuits, overcurrent, and reverse polarity. This system offers superior safety compared to unprotected Lead Acid batteries, which can rapidly discharge under short circuit conditions, posing fire and damage risks. The BMS also manages discharge and cut-off voltage to safeguard the internal cells.
This 200Ah model supports continuous current up to 100A, with peak currents of 150A for 10 seconds, making it ideal for portable power applications and as a replacement for similar capacity Lead Acid or AGM batteries.
